Day 1: Almaty
Welcome to Silk Road Tours 4! The tour will start by having Almaty Grand tour for about 5 - 6 hours. You will be guided through the Southern capital of Kazakhstan and see many interesting attractions. Start visiting the famous Green Bazaar and shopping! You can find there many goods belonging to oriental style according to your taste and budget! Afterwards you can visit Almaty parks as Panfilov Park and find wooden buildings in the world as Zenkov Cathedral. Visit the Memorial of Glory and Eternal Flame dedicated to the memory of the heroes who lost their lives for freedom of the country. We will continue our tour to the famous Medeo Gorge and use the highest mountain skating rink in the world. We are sure you will like it on tours. The next destination is the Kok-Tobe hill and the tallest TV tower in the world. You will have an opportunity to see outstanding park, souvenir shops and other places of wonder. You will end your day by seeing the whole city by the famous Almaty cableway. Later on, rest in a cozy hotel. 

Day 2: Almaty - Issyk - Almaty
Be ready at 11:00 am. We will travel to the famous Issyk Lake. It will take 7 hours. On the way you can have stop and inspire by gorges as Trans-Ili Alatau or Issyk Gorge, located at the Kuldja tract. In ancient times, traders passed this road. You will learn the history of burial mounds of Saka period as well as "Golden Man". It is considered to be the state symbol of Kazakhstan. Afterwards you can visit the State Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve "ISSYK" and see remains of Saka period and Golden Man. There are golden items, ancient ceramics, weapon, horse equipment and others interesting things. Also you will pass by 1756 meters above sea level in order to see the most beautiful mountain Issyk Lake. This lake is about 10,000 years old. It appeared due to landslide and created a deep dam of 300 meters in height. The Issyk Gorge surface was found in 1963. We have no doubt you will enjoy the pristine nature. Night will be spent in a hotel. 

Day 3: Almaty - Bishkek
At 9 a.m. we will travel to Bishkek. On arrival you will have a city tour and visit the Pobeda Square (Victory Square), Duboviy Park (Oak Park), Central Ala-Too Square, the National Arts Museum, National Philharmonic and other places. Don't miss to visit the famous Asian Bazaar and find it colorful! In the end of day, you will have rest in a hotel. 

Day 4: Bishkek - Burana - Issyk Kul northern shore
Today we will travel to the famous Issyk Kul Lake. Issyk Kul Lake is one of the most places among travelers as well as the second largest alpine lake in the world of 1608 m. above sea level. The second name of the lake is "the pearl of Central Asia" and it never freezes! On route, you can visit the ancient Burana Tower (11th century) and an open air museum of Balbals or stone warriors. Then, we will drive to Cholpon Ata city and see ancient stone inscriptions (found 800 B.C.) made by shamans 2000 years ago. Visit the local ethnography museum as well.  Overnight will be in a hotel. 

Day 5: Issyk Kul - Grigorievskoye - Semenovskoye - Karakol
In the morning you will visit the Semenovskoye and Grigorievskoye, which are connected at the end. You will be impressed by mountains and green meadows. Don't miss this chance. Then we will drive along the northern shore of the lake to Karakol city and visit the Dungan mosque of Chinese style as well as an old wooden Orthodox Church. Your night will be spent in a guesthouse. 

Day 6: Karakol - Skazka - Bokonbaevo
We are glad to present the next day of driving to Jeti Oguz gorge or Seven Bulls. You will be impressed by seven red rocks in a row. On the way you can see the Broken Heart Mountain. Spend 20 minutes and enjoy wonderful views of the gorge. We will continue our travel viw southern shore of Lake Issyk-Kul of 4 km from the village of Tosor and the Skazka (Fairy Tale) Canyon. Don't miss to take stunning photos of different shapes. Afterwards we will drive to Bokonbaevo village and meet with a local eagle-hunter or bertutchi. He will show you eagle hunting and then you can take photos with birds. Night will be spent in nomadic dwellings - yurts. 

Day 7: Bokonbaevo - Kyzyl Tuu - Bishkek
You will drive to Bishkek city. Have a stop on Kyzyl Tuu village. Take a part in yurt workshop, which are made of a wooden skeleton and covered with felt. On arrival to the capital, you will have rest in a hotel. 

Day 8: Bishkek - Osh - Khudjand
In the morning you will have flight to Osh city. On arrival you can visit the famous Suleiman Mountain. It is situated in the city center and considered to be the sacred place of Muslim pilgrimage. As legend says, one the biblical prophet Solomon (Suleiman) was buried at the foot of this mountain. Afterwards we will drive to Tajik border. You will drive over passes and capture vibrant photos. On arrival on border, you will be by Tajik guide and drive Khujand city. It is the second largest city of Tajikistan. It is located in the Syr Darya River at the mouth of the Fergana Valley. Population is about 149,000. Also it is the capital of the northernmost province of Tajikistan, today is Sughd. You will visit a Cultural Palace of Khujant where the first president of Tajikistan was selected as well as drive to Central Mosque. We have no doubt you will like this amazing tour presented by us. Day 9: Khudjand - 7 lakes - Penjikent
The day will start by driving to the Fannsky Gory or Fann Mountains. This is one of the best areas for hiking. On the way you can visit the Seven Lakes (Marquzor Lakes) of about 60 km south of Panjakent. Don't miss to take outstanding photos. On the way you will find 7 lakes located on different altitudes and colors. We will continue our travel to Penjakent. It is located in Khujand area of Tajikistan in a charming Zeravshan river valley, found in the 5th -8th centuries AD. It is one of the most important cultural and crafts centers of Sogd or "Central Asian Pompeii". The palace incudes two temples, markets, dwelling houses with numerous paintings, wooden and clay statues of ancient gods. All of them were found in the last century. We have no doubt you will be satisfied by sites and highlights of the Great Silk Road. Overnight is in a hotel.

Day 10: Penjikent - Jartepo - Samarkand
In the morning you will travel to Jartepo border. Start discover new the country of Silk Road Tours 4. You will have checkpoint at 10 a.m. You're your Uzbek driver with signboard and drive to Samarkand. The amazing city of Samarkand is situated in the valley of the river Zerafshan as well as it is the second largest city of Uzbekistan as the city of Babylon the same as Rome. You will have a city tour where you can visit Registan square, Shakhi-Zindeh, Mausoleum Guri Emir and Bibi Khanum Mosque. Registan Square a wonderful site which has three attracting Madrasahs belonging to the 15th -17th centuries. Shakhi-Zindeh is very famous in Uzbekistan and has many mausoleums found in the11th -15th centuries and included to the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bibi Khanum Mosque was built in honor of favorite Tamerlane's wife, after his trip from India. Today you will have night in a hotel.

Day 11: Samarkand - Gijduvan - Bukhara 
The tour will start by driving to Bukhara. You can stop at Gijduvan village and get aquinted with famous private pottery workshop. This skill passed from father to son from generation to generation. Today it is one of the sixth generation of potters from Narzullayevs family and Gijduvan school ceramics.  Travelers like to visit it on their tours. You will be impressed by geometric pattern of different colors like green and blue. In Bukhara you will visit memorial complex of Al Bukhary. In general, Al Bukhary was an Islamic academic, who presented the collection known as Sahih al-Bukhari, witnessed by Sunni Muslims. After productive day, you will spend night in a hotel.

Day 12: Bukhara
We are glad to impress you by a city tour. It is a great idea to visit most ancient citadel in Bukhara of the 4th century - Citadel Ark. It collaborated several dynasties of Bukhara Empire. Then you can visit Samanids mausoleum found in the 9th -10th century. We will drive to Chashma Ayub or Job's well and Bolo-Hauz mosque. You will get impression of forty columns dedicated to Bukhara governor - Abu-Fayud Khan. Walking among shops, you will see madrasahs of Bukhara as Nodir Divan Begi, closely related with Lyabi House Ensemble. In the afternoon, visit Poi Kalon complex. It consists three buildings found in the 12th - 16th centuries like Kalon minaret, Kalon mosque and Mir Arab Madrasah. Overnight is in a hotel. 

Day 13: Bukhara - Khiva
Welcome to explore Khiva city. You will walk along wide streets and find more than 140 architectural monuments found in the Middle Ages. Green parks and gardens, sites and highlights will not leave anyone indiffent! They are close to each other. You will see great road from Khiva to Bukhara passing via famous Kizilkum desert. See stunning Amu Darya river which is considered to be the deepest river in Central Asia confluence by Panj and Vakhsh in Tajikistan and flows into Aral Sea. Your night will be in a hotel.  

Day 14: Khiva
The tour will start by exploring the oldest city of Uzbekistan. You will have an opportunity to to see Ichan-Qala, surrounded with rough walls. On the way you will see old buildings, palaces, mosques, Madrasahs, Mausoleums, Minarets, Caravan-Sarais and Bathhouses reformed Ichan-Qala into exclusive city-monument. Ichan-Qala has over 400 traditional dwelling houses and 60 architectural monuments, must be seen on tours. In 1969 Ichan-Qala unlocked a historical and architectural conservation area, which consist of the Kunya-Ark fortress found in the 17th century found by Muhammad Arang Khan, Kalta Minor minaret and Tash Khouvli palace, where can be seen the Khorezm architectural mastership of 1830s. Night will be spent in a hotel. 

Day 15: Khiva - Shavat - Kunya Urgench - Darwaza
Have breakfast and travel to Shavat border. Meet your group at Shavat/Dashoguz border of Uzbekistan/Turkmenistan. Then you will drive to the architectural monuments as Kone-Urgench, Khorezm capital (10th -12th centuries). Start to visit the Mausoleum of Najm al-Din al-Kubra, Tyurabek-Khanum, IL-Arslan, Tekesh Ibn Hadzhibey as well as the highest minaret in Central Asia - Kutlyk Timur. Later on, you will drive to the famous Gas Crater - Darvaza. Stay there up to evening and enjoy stunning view of burning crater. The night will be in tents.

Day 16: Darwaza - Ashgabat
In the morning you will drive to Ashgabat city. Start from city tour of Turkmenistan. Visit beautiful places as new parks, fountains and statues of the great men of antiquity as well as Carpet Museum, the Park 10 years of Independence and the World of children's fairy tales. For sure you will be delighted on tours. Today you will spend night in a hotel. 

Day 17: Ashgabat - Mary - Merv
Today we will visit Mary city. On the way you will visit Annau. There are ancient ruins found in the 15th century in Seyit Jamal-ad-Din Mosque. You can also see Abiward or Abi-ward. It is ancient Sassanid city of Turkmenistan. The ancient city of Abiward was found in the last century of about 8 km west of the Kahka station in an area of 12,000 m2. The central part of the area is about 60 feet high and 700 feet round. We will continue our tour to Mary city, where you can visit wonderful Ancient Merv which is included to the UNESCO World Heritage Site. The site was played in development of the Silk Road for more than 2 000 years. We will continue to explore mausoleums of Sultan Sanjar and Muhammed ibn-Zeyd found in the XII c, on behalf of gorgeous Seljuk period stonework. Night is in a hotel.

Day 18: Mary - Ashgabat
The tour will be exploring Ashgabat city. You will have an opportunity to visit the famous Russian bazaar, Lenin Monument, Ertugrul Gazi mosque and get inspiration of them. Then, city tour in the evening. Overnight is in a hotel.

Day 19: Ashgabat
Today you will visit the "Ancient Nisa". It is the famous national park of the Parthian kings under UNESCO. Then you can visit the mosque "Ruhy" and the Mausoleum of the first President of Turkmenistan. Afterwards drive to horse farm and ride among forest. On the way you will visit Saparmyrat Hadji Mosque, located in Gokdepe. In the end of day, you will back to Ashgabat. Night is in a hotel.

Day 20: Flight
Today is flight. Thank for amazing time!
