Peak Khan Tengri

In our tours in Kyrgyzstan, we want to tell you about the charming peak of Khan Tengri, provide information about it, which reaches 6995 meters above sea level. But the ice cap makes the mountain's height about 7,010 meters above sea level. Tourists during tours in Kyrgyzstan will be able to go to see the peak in the Issyk-Kul region, and on the border with Kazakhstan to enjoy its views.

You will be able to find out what the peak is most often called as "Prince of Spirits" or "Lord of the Sky" by the locals. In the past, the peak had a variety of names due to the fact that the researcher of the mountains P. Semenov mistakenly assumed that Pobeda peak is Khan-Tengri. And in the beginning, the peak was called as Kan Tau, which means (Blood Mountain). Most likely, the peak was named because of the blood of those who died during the ascent or because of the red sunsets.

Guests on tours in Kyrgyzstan will be able to explore that in 1931, the team from Ukraine was the first to reach the top, and for this you can rent a car. In the Soviet Union, the peak could not be explored by ordinary people and climb mountains, as it was strictly forbidden. This was not allowed in most likely unexplored territory. The mountain can be seen up close in a rented car on tours of Kyrgyzstan, see the Enilchek Glacier, also explore the views of Lake Merzbacher, and on the way you will be enchanted by glaciers, lakes, gorges and rivers.
