Kyrgyz Dungan mosque

Dungan mosque is the place which is greatly visited by all who travel in Kyrgyzstan and have a desire to make a witness of the site where people in flight were making their way. In 1877 the people started to migrate and in the course of their tour for rented car they moved from China to Karakol. When they settled down they have decided to build the mosque which could be the main place for all migrating people to find the shelter. In the course of a tour in Kyrgyzstan you are free to travel to the mosque and witness for yourself that it is created without nail and metal. In 1907 the Chinese architect Chjou Siy was invited to build the mosque. 20 local citizens were helping him to build it. While making a tour in Kyrgyzstan rent cars you can notice that colors of the mosque are of the Chinese style. Out of it you can travel and see that red color is used to protect the people from evil, yellow is used to bring wealth and green is the one for the people to be happy. We would like to note that in the Soviet Union it was prohibited to believe in God and to serve religious rites that is why in the 20^th century the mosque was closed. After the events of WW2, the Muslim community decided to give a good amount of money for the needs of war and then they were given rights to serve rites. The place is greatly visited by all who travel in Karakol.
