Day 1: Baku
On coming first to Azerbaijan, we are going to meet the guests in the airport of Baku, as we have prepared the investigational trip along the capital. It identifies our desire to show the most picturesque locations which tend to have great historical meaning. Having lunch, guests start for the center of the capital, as here we are glad to show the old and modern parts of the city. Then the way is made to the Heydar Aliyev Cultural Center. It is famous for modern buildings, created by architect Zaha Hadid. The outer view of the building was created in interesting lines, with various expositions of historical meaning to be held. At the same time it is good to visit Aliyev center, as it is one of the most visited places. Night is offered in the hotel.
Day 2: Baku
Here comes the day when after breakfast you take a way to Old Town. It means we still in the capital of the country, and for this take a tour to Icheri Sheher area. It is found in the very center of Baku. The peculiar feature is that it is surrounded by the fort. At the same time the following locations are going to be seen during our investigation - the Market Square, Juma Mosque, Synyk Gala Castle, Caravanserais, baths, Maiden Tower of the XII century, residential buildings and the Palace of Shirvan Shakhov of the XV century, and of course the Workshop of Ali Shamsi. Concerning the latter place, it is named after the artist. Then making the trip further, the view is caught by locations of UNESCO historical heritage. In the end of the day, walk can be taken. Day 3: Baku - Gobustan - Baku
Bibi-Heybat is the complex which is going to be seen today, as it is one of the most famous mosques, where there are tombs. And right here, at the territory of the complex we can view the grave of Ukeima khanum. He is identified as the successor of the famous Prophet Muhammad. Going on, the exhibition is made along Gobustan Reserve of rock carvings. This location is rich with various rocks, of about 6,000 ones. And most of them are considered to be 30,000 years old. From Gobustan it is necessary to take a drive of 10km and get to active volcanoes of Absheron. As we are in Baku again, the lunch is offered, after which there will be the trip to Carpet Museum. In the museum there are about 10,000 items exhibited. Among them we can notice 14th century items - like ceramics, metal and bronze jewelry, metal, as well as carpets and rugs of the 17th-20th centuries. And of course other various items, gold and silver jewelry, national clothing and embroidery. Night is spent in the hotel.
Day 4: Baku - Lankaran (Girkansky reserve) - Baku
We offer to prepare for today, as the trip made today is aimed at investigation of Hirkan Nature Reserve. In the present day it is the location of the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO. Moreover, this is a natural complex. Right here we can notice the climate of subtropical forests, with the change of climate zone from moist. Concerning flora and fauna, there are many representatives here. At the territory guests can meet 1900 species of plants, and out of them there are about 160 ones located in the Talysh mountains. Fauna is also rather rich here, presented by leopard, the Caucasian lynx, the stone marten, the porcupine, the Talysh spotted woodpecker, the Iranian robin, the Persian snake. With the end of the day, dinner is served in the restaurant. And for making it more interactive, guests can get for additional price dance ensemble Nyanyalar (Grandmothers). Night is offered in the hotel.
Day 5: Baku - Shemakha - Gabala - Sheki
From the capital of Azerbaijan, the tour is made to Shamakha. Anf during the trip made here, invitees make the stop at the vertical wall of Sheikh Diri Baba's, which is carved in the mountain, with various geometric shapes. At the same time the meaning is connected with some sort of mystic. It is located in the Maraza village. For the next stop we get to Shamakhi, and travel to Juma Mosque in it. Day 6: Sheki - Baku
Today one of the most attractive cities of Azerbaijan is going to be seen. It means the tour is made to the height of 700m. And this location is surrounded by the mountains, and oak forests. At the same time such a location as Shebeke workshop will be visited. Here guests can view the way of cooking of Sheki Halva. For the next destination we have taken Caucasian village Kish, have lunch and then travel to the Sheki Ipek Silk Mill. The whole country and city Sheki is proud for kelagai, the well-known silk headscarf. It is seen in the Representative List of the Intangible Cultural Heritage of UNESCO. Coming back to Baku, night is offered in the hotel.
Day 7: Baku - Absheron Peninsula - Baku
In the last day of the trip guests will take a route to the Historical and Archaeological Museum. It is located in Gala village, one of the ancient settlements, having roots in the Bronze Age. At this area the uncovered museum will be seen. It is characterized with exhibits of the 5th century fort. For the next destination we are going to see the Ateshgah Temple of Fire Worshipers, where there is the fire which is always flaming. Then the Yanardag is visited. It is also known as the Burning Mountain. Return to Baku then, and have a trip to the bazaar. Night is offered in the hotel.
Day 8: Baku - Airport
Breakfast is served in a hotel. Airport transfer is organized today.
